Happy Halloween!!

We hope everyone has a safe and fun Halloween!

We so enjoyed out little visit from Haley and Emory Anne yesterday! It was so good to see them and catch up with Haley. Will slept through most of the visit, but woke up to spend a little time with Emory Anne. They both were a little unsure of us making Emory Anne sit in Will's lap for a picture!!

Congratulations, Brantley and Chip!

Brantley and Chip Hodges welcomed Baby James into the world. He was 7lbs. 8oz. and 20 inches long! We are so excited for them and are so glad everyone is doing good! Hopefully we will get to meet him soon!

Will loves getting to spend some time with Daddy in the mornings before he leaves for work! He didn't ever get to see him in the mornings when we lived in Camden because Daddy left so early, but now he gets some quality time in! While Daddy caught up on current events (but mostly the Dick's Sporting Goods ad), Will caught up on all the new toys he wants!!

Will had so much fun today at Durham's Halloween party! All the babies were so cute dressed up their costumes! Thank you, Chris and Ariail, for hosting such a fun party for the kids! Will thoroughly enjoyed all the candy and cupcakes!!

Happy Anniversary, Pat!

Happy 5th Anniversary, Pat! We have accomplished so much in so little time....lived in a 7oo sqft. house together, built a beautiful home in Camden, had our sweet boy, Will, and now moved to Columbia! We have been busy!! I have loved you for many years, 13 to be exact, and I know I will love you for many more. You are such a wonderful husband, father and man! Thank you for all you do for me and for being my prince! I truly don't know what I would do without your love and committment to me! I am very lucky to have you as my husband and plan on enjoying many more years together looking at you with the same loving eyes as I did on our wedding day!xoxo

Congratulations, Kelly and Matt!

Kelly and Matt welcomed their sweet little boy to the world early this morning at 3:29a.m! His name is Campbell Wright Collins and he weighed in at 9lbs. 12oz. He was 21 inches long. A nice healthy boy! He is just adorable and we can't wait to meet him! We love you all and are so happy for you!

Sweet Will, I hope you continue to take time out to discover all the wonderful things in this world. May all your new discoveries continue to amaze and enlighten you!

Will has so much fun playing in the backyard with Aiken and Scout. Aiken decided that sliding looked like so much fun that he should try it himself! Of course, he wanted to go up the slide and was a little unsure of coming down on his own. Don't worry, Will "helped" him down. I couldn't get a picture of that because I was making sure no one got hurt! He has the energy of a two year old, so Will and Aiken are the perfect pair. Scout, on the other hand, prefers to watch!

Thank you, Ariail and Chris, for having us at your beautiful beach house for the weekend. Will had so much fun with Chris, Ariail, Durham, Kendall and Emily! He even got his first boat ride and loved it. I, unfortunately, got very sick and missed most of the fun. We don't know if it was a virus or something I ate, but I was in bed for most of the trip. (Ariail got sick Saturday night, so we really don't know happened) I am just glad Will and Daddy got to have some fun! Durham and Will were so cute to watch together and they are going to have so much fun growing up together! It was so good to see Kendall and Emily and we wish we saw them more often! All in all, it was a great weekend and we appreciate everything!

A Night with the Girls!

Thank you, Whitney, for having us all over last night! It was so much fun getting together with the girls and celebrating b-days and engagements. Whitney, Shannon, Kiki, Elisa, Sally, Alli, Kari and me went to Whi's house to drink some wine and eat pizza last night. It was a nice alternative to Za's!! We got to see Kari's beautiful ring and hear the wonderful engagement story...Congrats Kari!! It was also nice to see Whi's house....it is so pretty! Sally's b-day was the 15th and mine is the 20th, so they got us a big cookie cake...yum! Kiki is looking so cute in her pregnancy and we can't wait to find out what she is having in 2 weeks!!! It was a fun night talking weddings, babies and much more! Thanks again girls for a fun night and Whi for hosting!

We had so much fun tonight celebrating Durham's birthday! Thank you, Chris and Ariail, for the wonderful food, cake, and ice cream! Also, thank you Aunt Ariail for making Will his own cake so he wouldn't get jealous of Durham! That was so sweet of you and Will loved it!

Dear Sleep Fairy...

Please come wave your wand over my sweet, precious child and make him sleep at night. I know I just said how I can't wait for him to wake up each morning so I could see his sweet face and listen to all the wonderful things he has to say, .....but the middle of the night is not really what I was talking about. I was thinking more like 6:30 or 7:00am. We will be waiting for the magic sleeping dust...

So, another night has come and gone where Will has decided that sleep was not really in his agenda. Last night he woke up at 12:00am and didn't go back to sleep until 4:00am. I truly do not understand how a child so energetic and on the go all day doesn't sleep 10-12 hours a night. Mommy doesn't know how many more sleeplesss nights she can handle! I love you sweet Will, but Mommy does need a break just to sleep at night! It is not the new house, because he has been doing this for a long while now. We went through a great period where he slept from 7:30pm-7:30am....those days are gone and how I miss them! Is it bad that in my prayers at night I pray that my child will sleep through the night?? I honestly think he has inherited my sleeping problems and that worries me. I want him to sleep so he can feel good all day!! Please sleep fairy, please!!

Sweet Will!

What a sweet boy! I can't even imagine my life without that sweet face! You are so adorable, smart, funny and full of life! I am so lucky to have such a gift. I can't wait to get up in the morning and see you and hear all the wonderful things you have to say! Thank you for all the sweet hugs and kisses everyday. Mommy loves you to the moon and back!

Fun at the Zoo!

Will had so much fun today at the zoo with Durham! It was such a pretty day, so Pat, Will and I decided to join Chris, Ariail and Durham for some fun at the zoo. What a fun Sunday! They are so cute and enjoy their time together.

So, I think there might be a little confusion about which bed belongs to who. Somebody needs to tell Scout that his 85lb body will not fit in a bed made for a 15lb dog! And please look at Aiken with all that bed to spare. The funny thing is that Scout is the one who wanted the small bed. Aiken was not a typical Jack Russell taking over the big bed, Scout actually took over his bed!! Between Will and the dogs, there is never a dull moment around our house!!!!

Fashion Statement!

Looks like Will found one of Mommy's headbands and decided to wear it. He does this quite often and I think it is so funny..he obviously does too! He is finally feeling at home in the new house and getting back into a routine. The kitchen is done....hooray...and we are all settling in and loving it. Pat called on his way home yesterday and said "I am on my home from Irmo and it won't take me over an hour!!!" It has been really nice for him not having to drive so much. He even came home for lunch yesterday.

Will had a short, but wonderful visit from his Auntie Kim Sunday and Monday. He had so much fun with her and thanks her for helping his mommy do some decorating!! I am not so good at that, so I always welcome help! He loves his Kim very much and can't wait to see her again!!

Will has also enjoyed seeing his Auntie Lori so much! She comes to see us often and he thinks that is really great! He has also gotten to see his Uncle Chris a lot because he has been helping Pat some..Thanks Chris!! Durham came for a visit with Chris last week and they had fun playing. Durham is a walking machine and so darn cute! Will and Durham are going to have so much fun together! Caroline (aka Bob) and Elisa also came by last week to see Will and he had a blast showing off for them! We have really enjoyed all of our little visits!

Puppy love!!

Will loves Scout so much and is enjoying having the porch at our new house where he can cuddle with him!!

Moved In!!

Well, we are officially moved in!! It has been a long couple of days, but we survived it! Thank you to Nina, Pop Pop, Gamma and Gampa for helping so much with Will so we could get some things done! Also, thanks to Natalie, Elisa, and Kiki for bringing food over...we definitely enjoyed having delicious food to eat during our move! Things are going great so far! Other than Pat tearing out the kitchen floor as we speak to put new tile down, we really haven't had to do too much. We have thoroughly enjoyed all the visitors and look forward to seeing everyone more often!! Will keep you updated on the progress and will post some pictures soon!
