We haven't melted...

We are still here and haven't melted in the heat! Will and I have spent almost everyday in the pool at Nina's trying to keep cool! Haley and Emory Anne have joined us several times and we have enjoyed their company. Kiki and Jackson even came by for a little while over the weekend and sat in the shade! Will is going to be 3 years old in one week and we have been making sure everything is together for the party! He has requested an alligator cake, so that has been ordered from Tiffany's. I took a picture of one that I found online and can't wait to see how it turns out. He never would decide what kind of party theme he wanted, so the treat bags have one treat with each of his favorite characters (Mickey Mouse,Elmo, Wiggles, Curious George, Dora, Diego and Spongebob!) I know, I am crazy! We are also getting ready for our beach trip to Debordieu with Elisa and Glenn as our wonderful hosts! The house is going to be wild...eight kids age 4 and under!!! Looking forward to a little vacation! That is about all that is going on here..nothing too exciting.

Almost 3....

I have been going through old pictures and am in total disbelief that my baby is almost 3 years old! Look at the first picture when he was only 2 weeks old and his picture now. It is just so hard to believe that he has grown so much. We couldn't love this sweet boy any more than we do!

Second Cousins!

We had a fun, but short, visit with my cousin Kathleen and her husband and girls on Saturday. They live in Georgia and were coming through Columbia on their way home from Charlotte, and came by for a quick visit at Nina and Pop Pop's house . Chloe and Kara are just adorable and Will enjoyed playing with them! Of course the girls have pretty smiles and Will would not smile at the camera for anything!! Tyler, their youngest (2 months younger than Will), was not with them so we missed seeing her! We are so glad they came by and really enjoyed seeing them all! We wish we could see them more often and will definitely start trying to plan some more time together! Thanks for the visit...we love you!

Train Track

While Uncle KK was here, he put together Will's train track. This is something that Pat and I have not had the patience to do or the brains! KK spent a couple of hours putting it together and we are so thankful! We had a lot of different tracks, so it really took some time to figure out..even for KK and all his brain power!! Will has enjoyed being able to actually play with his train! Thanks KK!!

Birthday Celebrations!

We had such a fun weekend celebrating family birthdays! Kendall and Emily came in town and it was such a treat to spend time with them! Saturday night we celebrated Gamma, Gampa, and Pop Pop's b-days. It was so fun to have everyone here for a wonderful dinner. As you can see from the first picture, Will and I had a small collision while I was carrying the cake....although the cake was ruined, it was still pretty funny!! Luckily we had another cake! Some pictures are from last weekend when we made a trip out to Gamma and Gampa's lake house for a visit! We all enjoyed having everyone and wish we saw them more often! Thanks everyone for a very fun evening!

Wishing my wonderful Daddy a Happy Birthday! Words cannot even express what a great man, father, and Pop Pop you are! You have always been there to pick me up when I am down or cheer me on when I have achieved a goal. In all my ups and downs, you have loved me unconditionally and been a huge support! We love you so much and are so grateful to have you in our lives. I have always looked up to you and admired you, and now my son will do the same. He thinks you are the best and loves his Pop Pop Pop Pop! Will just lights up when he hears your voice and loves when you sing Wiggles songs with him.
